Inspire me Thursday - Intimacy

Digital Collage by Itkupilli

Dark Passion Play is the sixth studio album by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. It is the first album to feature the band's new lead vocalist, Anette Olzon, and the first without former vocalist Tarja Turunen, due to her departure in October 2005. Dark Passion Play will be the band's first studio album in three years. In the producing of "Dark Passion Play", Nightwish worked together with the London Session Orchestra and Metro Voices Choir.

Your work is beautiful. Very beautiful. And I enjoyed the Jimi jam below while I perused! Great idea to share the music along with the art. They really go hand in hand for me.

The part of this that most got me thinking was intimacy and curtains. It's such a big part of this piece and I think it's fitting. Intimacy is often behind a curtain. Hmmm. I like it. Thanks for sharing.

it's SO well done...the mood, the way it draws me in, the soft, soft colors that look like worn, old velvet, the thin, mysterious veil/curtain ...excellent!
